Ihssane Hasnaoui Leckey

Ihssane Hasnaoui Leckey (Brookline, MA) is the founder and CEO of Unity First Advisors, where she helps clients advance social and racial justice. She is a former regulator for the Federal Reserve and a former candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Massachusetts’ 4th congressional district. Additionally, Ihssane has worked in the realm of public finance to support financially struggling municipalities as they restructured their debt and revised their bond ratings. Prior to that, in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, she worked with a Philadelphia-area food bank to address food deserts and state government attempts to make cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Ihssane immigrated to America from Morocco at the age of 20 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics and math from Boston University, and a Certificate of Negotiations and Leadership from The Program On Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
